If you are a current DAR member and would like to transfer to our chapter, or sign up as an Associate Member, please complete our Change of Status form.

If you are not yet a member of the NSDAR, and would like to apply to the Brooklyn Chapter for membership, please fill out our Request for Information form, and someone from our chapter will contact you. Prospective members are always welcome to attend our meetings.

Any woman is eligible for NSDAR membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage and death. No chapter may discriminate against an applicant on the basis of race or creed. The National Society reserves the right to determine acceptability of all service and proof thereof.
